Dear Prospective Player,
With the gaining of popularity in telecommunications a need
has risen for games to allow competition amongst fellow users.
'TeleCards' was developed with this concept in mind.
The original version of TeleCards used ANSI graphics. The
program has been updated to use EGA (640x350x16) graphics. Other
improvements include:
1) The ability to play against the computer
2) A phonebook file that contains hardware specs, plus a list
of up to 10 opponents with scores and dates called.
3) Ability to save and to restart games previously saved.
4) More user friendly.
5) Use of different card back designs with the ability for
users to create their own.
Features found in the original version are still there, such as
the chat feature and help facilities.
Three games are incorporated: Crazy Eights, Cribbage, Gin Rummy.
For information on how to start and play TeleCards view or
print the file, TCMANUAL.DOC.
The registration fee for TeleCards is $20.00. Remember that
since TeleCards can be played bu two players, the fee can be split
in half with each player paying only $10.00! If this is the case,
please list both names when registering.
Those who do register will receive the following:
* A printed manual
* A utility program to allow for baud rates up to 19200.
* A utility program which allows users to create their
own card back designs.
* A Novell NetWare version of TeleCards. Expected
availability 3/93.
* All updates to the product free.
